How many RAW format images will I be able to fit on one 2gig CF card with my new Canon XTi DSLR? - cf card primer particio format
I've come a new Canon Rebel XTi, me via email with a CF card 2 gigabytes. I am very excited about this, but I wonder how many pictures can be placed on a memory of 2 gigabytes. Wants to know if you need to buy an additional memory card (s). I will draw the highest resolution (uncompressed image). I am an experienced photographer 35mm SLR and I spent my first DSLR. Thank you!

They differ from the various ISOs. The lowest ISO occupies more space. Although most of the ISOs are not too big a difference. At ISO 100 with a 2-megabit card, which usually hold 200 rounds.
Memory cards are cheap, get some when you see them on sale. And I advise you to get a quality brand. I say this even though I have had a Lexar Pro Series, I've heard of problems with SanDisk. I've never been a problem.
The way I got my XTi and put the 2 GB of memory, and said that he has room for 200 more shots. I say this only to say, when I referenced.

XTi RAW files are about 9.8MB each, so you can up to 100 images per 1 GB of fire.
You can also record RAW + JPEG, which increases the file size to 13MB. This is not a bad choice to use because you can store your images in RAW (and plan for post-process later), but also the possibility of direct implementation of a JPEG image are identical.
Reformat the card before using it.
Happy Shooting ...
To hold my Nikon D80, w/2GB Lexar Professional SD card 168th NEF / RAW files at ISO 100, and the size is 10MP full screen. This should give you an idea.
It is too easy. I wonder why someone ambitious enough to own a digital SLR camera would ask you.
Simply the memory card that you already have and do the calculations. We assume you are running a version of RAW + JPEG.
Not much. RAW images are huge.
